Get A Grip HM Treatment: Effective on all hard mineral surfaces.
Our chemical works with the silica sand that is in all hard mineral surfaces. The existing pours are deepened and widened to create a tread pattern. This tread pattern works the same way a tire works on a wet road. This creates the grip and eliminates the slip. Ceramic tile, terrazzo, concrete, marble, granite, porcelain, enamel and other hard mineral surfaces.
The process of slip-proofing your floors is really quite simple.
- First we must start with a clean floor. We ask that you clean the floor(s) to be treated before we arrive or we can clean the floor(s) for an additional cost.
- Second, we will do a Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) test to establish your current rate.
- Next, we will test to obtain the proper solution mixture and the duration time required to reach optimal treatment. This will be followed by the actual treating of the surface.
- After the treatment duration time has been reached, depending on the type of surface material and floor drainage available, we will rinse thoroughly or treat with a neutralizer and all material will be picked up.
- Another SCOF test will be conducted to show that OSHA and ADA requirements have been met.
- Your floor is now safe to use when wet!
Get A Grip Epoxy: Effective on all surfaces.
This is an aerosol epoxy paint with a texture added. It sprays just like paint, dries to touch in about one hour, and is normally cured within 24 hours.
It is designed for interior and exterior use where controlled, footing is desired. Can be used on wood, concrete, steel, fiberglass, aluminum and other surfaces. Bathtubs, showers, steps, ramps, step latter's, boat trailers, and so much more.
Get A Grip FVP & Get A Grip FVP Plus: Effective on all surfaces.
These can be applied with a hair or foam brush, a roller (short nap) or a low pressure airless sprayer.
The Get A Grip is recommended for use in the bathtub, hot tub and in the home kitchen.
The Get A Grip Plus should be used when extra traction is required such as stairs, decks, sidewalks or around a swimming pool or hot tub.
